MEDIA ALERT- COUNTRY LIVING FAIR RETURNS TO RHINEBECK, NEW YORK, JUNE 1-3

WHAT: The Country Living Fair brings the magazine’s content to life and gives readers access to a unique shopping experience in four special outdoor settings across the country. Each Fair features 200+ vendors from over 25 states. Vendors include: antiques sellers, food purveyors, artists, furniture makers, crafters, and more. Guests will also have a chance to meet Country Living editors and special guests; attend cooking, crafting, and DIY demonstrations and book signings; sample locally sourced, artisanal food; and participate in make & take workshops.

12:30 p.m.: Main Stage: Annie Sloan, creator of Chalk Paint® will present creative ways to transform items with paint, followed by a signing for her book Annie Sloan Paints Everything. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

1:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Trace Barnett of The Bitter Socialite & Food Network Star Season 13, will be doing a cooking demo on classy camping recipes.

2:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Nora Murphy of Nora Murphy Country House & author will present ways to make your home a country house.

2:30 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Silvia Baldini, winner of Food Network’s Chopped & founder of Strawberry and Sage, will be doing a cooking demo on a power food spring meal with olive oil.

 SATURDAY, JUNE 2

10:30 a.m.: Main Stage: Melissa Caughey of Tilly’s Nest, HGTV.com writer and contributor will share tips on how to “speak chicken,” followed by a signing for her book How to Speak Chicken: Why Your Chickens Do What They Do & Say What They Say. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

11:30 a.m.: Main Stage: Kim Leggett of City Farmhouse & author of City Farmhouse Style will present tips for creating a storied modern farmhouse style home, followed by a signing for her book City Farmhouse Style. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

11:30 a.m.: Kitchen Stage: Trace Barnett of The Bitter Socialite & Food Network Star Season 13, will be doing a cooking demo on Appalachian desserts.

12:30 p.m.: Main Stage: Annie Sloan, creator of Chalk Paint® will present creative ways to transform items with paint, followed by a signing for her book Annie Sloan Paints Everything. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

1:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Cooper Boone of Foundry42 will be doing a cooking demo on working with honey in the kitchen.

2:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Mary Randolph Carter, Country Living Contributing Editor, will share tips for saving space followed by a signing for her books For the Love of Old and Never Stop to Think…Do I Have a Place for This? Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

3:30 p.m.: Main Stage: Joanne Palmisano, contributing DIY Network designer and stylist, will present stylish ways to use vintage in your home’s decor, followed by a signing for her book Styling with Salvage. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

 SUNDAY, JUNE 3

10:30 a.m.: Main Stage: Betsy Olmsted, author of Hand Printing Studio, will present ways to design with a hand printing studio, followed by a signing for her book. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

12:30 p.m.: Main Stage: Annie Sloan, creator of Chalk Paint® will present creative ways to transform items with paint, followed by a signing for her book Annie Sloan Paints Everything. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

2:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell of “The Fabulous Beekman Boys” will be doing a cooking demo on Crostini and Artichoke & Pea Pesto, followed by a signing for their book A Seat at the Table. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

2:30 p.m.: Main Stage: Joanne Palmisano, award-winning interior designer & regular DIY Network contributor, will present stylish ways to use vintage in your home’s decor, followed by a signing for her book Styling with Salvage. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

TICKETS: One-day admission is $13 in advance and $18 at the door; three-day weekend passes are available for $15 in advance and $25 at the door;

An Early Bird three-day weekend pass is available for $40 and grants early admission at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday;

Free admission for children ages 16 and under.

The Fair is held rain or shine and there’s plenty of free parking.

Attendees will be able to engage with Country Living at the Fairs by using the hashtag #CLFair and share their favorite finds using the hashtag #CLFairFinds.
